Problem:

Quiet Town was a quaint small business bringing in about $170k per month. They were doing well revenue-wise, but didn’t know foundational things about their business—who their target audience is, what USP stands out, how to sell higher price point items or increase AOV, how to scale, and how to do so sustainably and make a profit.

So we had our work cut out for us. It wasn’t just about scaling, it was about being profitable and understanding the fundamentals.

Process:

We started by increasing ROI through paid ads channels and implemented automated & consistent email marketing efforts making a more cost-effective way to maintain & increase revenue. As we were doing that, we also tested various audiences to understand who is buying our products & which audiences are scalable.

Once we had a better understanding of our audience & got the business into a more profitable state, we then tested products, messaging, and creatives. Which items were best sellers, what combo gets the audience to relate to our efforts most, and how do we expand on this?

After having a much clearer understanding here, we then developed cross-selling opportunities in paid, email, and website. Then, we did an entire website redesign—optimizing conversion rate, site speed, restructuring the site & products—utilizing the data we found prior to create a clearer consumer journey based on what people are looking for.

Now that we had creatives, messaging, audience and website updated & cohesive. We started implementing UGC outreach to support more native & word of mouth advertising.

Final Results:

Quiet Town came to us in February 2022 to become their marketing partner. They were earning on average $170k per month in 2021, thus, earning just under $2m for the year. However, they were hardly profitable and losing steam from the 2020/2021 eComm boost.

Once we partnered with them, we brought ROI up to 5x. Then we put goals in place to scale profitably ending the year 2022 with over $3m in revenue—150% growth YoY.

Building out a fully integrated marketing funnel allowed us to open up new channels and bring them to a more efficient state. It also allowed the client to step away and expand on their collections thus leading to exciting launches twice a month.
